NICE TO MEET YOU

I'm Rochelle Matos

Mother to eight, wife to Luis Matos, goal getter, soloentrpurnure and dependent on Our Lord.  I love to learn and share, teach, train others.  That's why I started Handheld Birth.  I want to hold your hand, train you, teach you and then send you to meet your little one - Holding Each other's Hands.  I've learned so much working in the birth and baby world for over 15 years, attending over 200 births, I'm excited to share all that with each of you! Not to mention my own eight births that have been at home, in the hospital, on land and in the water.  Natural and medicated.   Handheld Birth classes draw from all these experiences and extensive education to give you the foundation you need for a natural birth.

Childbirth Class

Comprehensive Childbirth Education that covers everything from pregnancy to birth to postpartum.  Hands on approach with practical practice to get ready for birth.

Husbands Role

Our CBE classes are directly educating the husband as a support and caregiver in the birth process.  He is equipped with tips and tricks and the skills needed to support his wife in labor.

Postpartum

Often times we focus so much on the birth we forget about what happens when baby comes.  That's why our class includes information on breastfeeding, healing, postpartum care, baby care and more!

My Story

Pregnant with my first baby my husband and I were lost - we new we wanted a natural birth - but how?  Everyone we knew had medicated births.  Thats when we discovered Natural Childbirth Education.

The class taught us everything we needed to know and MORE.  We were learning together and grew closer as a couple and as our family grew we continued to learn and make decisions together - unified as a coulple.

And that's what we want for you as well!  We want couples to walk away from our classes knowledgeable about birth, but more importantly straightened as a couple!
